Lamborghini Urus SE Breaks Cover In India - Toro Elettrificato

It's the 9th of August. The Lamborghini Urus SE has been launched in India. What’s special, you ask? Well, the Lamborghini Urus SE is the plug-in-hybrid version of the Lamborghini Urus, and it also happens to be the most powerful Urus yet. If you weren’t satisfied with the performance of the ‘regular’ Urus, the Urus SE packs in 159bhp and 100Nm of extra torque. There’s more to the story, read ahead to find out.

Lamborghini Urus SE Powertrain

The Lamborghini Urus packs in a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Assisting this eight-cylinder unit is a rear motor and a 25.9kWh battery pack, generating monstrous power and torque figures of 800bhp and 950Nm respectively. 

Lamborghini Urus SE Performance

This electrified bull can hit a top speed of 312kph, and triple digit speeds appear in just 3.4 seconds. Furthermore, it can go from 0 to 200 kph in 11.2 seconds. The Urus SE gets an electric-only range of 60 kilometres, and can reach a top speed of 130kph in the electric-only mode.

Lamborghini Urus SE Features

The Lamborghini Urus SE gets a freaking number of drive modes — 10 to be specific. It gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, redesigned air vents, classic Lamborghini buttons and switches, an enhanced exhaust system, redesigned bumpers, tailgate, grille and bonnet. It also gets ADAS functionalities.

You’ll have to lighten your bank account by Rs 4.57 Crore (and a bit more for the taxes and insurance) to get the Lamborghini Urus SE in your garage. But, come on, you aren’t really getting one if you’re reading this piece. Are you?
