Kia Syros registers over 20,000 bookings — Interesting insights inside

Kia India first opened pre-orders for its latest sub-compact SUV—the Syros—back in January and announced the prices of the same at the start of February 2025. The carmaker has shared that the Syros has bagged over 20,000 bookings since its bookings commencement. Read on to know more about the Kia Syros bookings and buyer preferences.
Kia Syros petrol accounts more than diesel
As the market share of diesel engines continues to plummet, it's the petrol engine that has gained more interest in the eyes of the customers of the Syros. The Kia Syros petrol accounts for over 67% of the total booking whereas the diesel engine accounts for the remaining 33% of bookings.

Furthermore, over 46% of the bookings came from the top variants of the SUV, with AT transmission accounting for more than 38% of the total bookings. Kia India also shared that the Glacier White Pearl exterior colour emerged as the preferred colour, with 32% booking share, closely followed by Aurora Black Pearl and Frost Blue with 26% and 20% respectively. Lastly, over 18% of total bookings came from the top-spec HTX+(O) variant that comes equipped with the Level-2 ADAS tech.
