The Kia Syros comes in six variants: HTK, HTK (O), HTK Plus, HTX, HTX Plus, and HTX Plus (O). What makes this model interesting for potential buyers is that even at the base level, it offers a good number of features. The HTK (O), being the second base variant, comes with a wide range of interior and exterior features. It is also available with both turbo petrol and diesel engine options.
If you're considering this model, it’s important to understand what you’ll get with this variant, from its exterior and interior to its features, safety, and more. Let’s dive into the full details of the HTK (O) variant and what it offers.
Kia Syros HTK (O) exterior
The Kia Syros HTK (O) exterior features a blackout lower bumper, with a black accent at the end of the bonnet. These black finishes have a matte look, rather than a glossy one. The front and rear also come with silver skid plates. It gets Ice Cube Halogen Headlamps and fog lamps, but this variant does not have LED DRLs.
At the rear, the Kia Syros HTK (O) lacks the L-shaped LED taillights around the back window; instead, it has reflectors. There’s also no defogger, and below the reflectors, you'll find the buld-based taillight cluster. The vehicle also comes with side cladding, flush door handles, and dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels on the diesel variant. However, the petrol engine version in this variant comes with 15-inch steel wheels.
Kia Syros HTK (O) interior
The Kia Syros HTK (O) interior features hard-touch materials around the door and dashboard. It comes with an all-black & grey dual-tone interior with matte orange accents. The dashboard also includes a long screen, and there’s a sunshade curtain at the rear.
This model lacks adjustable headrests, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the ability to recline or slide the seats. However, considering this is the second base variant, it offers quite a few good features. Since it doesn’t have the sliding option, the boot space isn’t 465 litres, as seen in higher variants with that feature. Nevertheless, the boot space is still decent.
