The Kia Syros launch timeline in India is expected to take place in the first half of 2026, likely between January and March. The recently launched Kia Syros ICE model features a bold, muscular design, and it’s expected that the Kia Syros EV will adopt similar design cues with some subtle tweaks. The interior might also resemble the ICE version, with a similar dashboard layout.

Upcoming Kia Syros EV features & safety tech
In terms of Kia Syros EV features, the electric version is expected to include many of the same features found in the ICE model, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch driver display, 5-inch climate control display, wireless phone charger, panoramic sunroof, 8 speakers, and 4-way powered driver seat, among others. On the safety front, it is expected to come with 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, hill hold assist, and more. Additionally, the EV will likely offer Level 2 ADAS features for added safety.
Kia Syros EV battery options
The Kia Syros is expected to share its platform with the Hyundai Inster EV model. The Hyundai Inster EV, which is available internationally, offers two battery configurations: 42 kWh and 49 kWh. It has a top speed of up to 150 km/h and a range of up to 370 km, with an acceleration time of 10.6 seconds. The Syros EV will likely come in a front-wheel-drive drivetrain.

Kia India has yet to announce the ICE Kia Syros price, which is expected to be revealed in January. Deliveries are likely to begin in February 2025. As for the Kia Syros EV price, it is anticipated to be priced slightly higher than the ICE version, with an expected range between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom).
