Kia India July 2024 Sales — Marks 2.5% YoY Increase

Kia India July 2024 sales have been revealed and the South Korean carmaker continues with its upward trajectory. In the month of July 2024, the star performer turned out to be the recently-updated Sonet compact SUV. Compared to the July 2023 sales, Kia India has increased its sales by 2.5% year-on-year YoY.
Kia India July 2024 Sales
Kia India recorded 20,507 domestic dispatches in July 2024, marking a 2.5% year-over-year growth from 20,002 units in July 2023. The newly launched Kia Sonet led sales with 9,459 units, followed by Carens with 5,679 units and Seltos with 5,347 units in the domestic market. Coming to exports,Kia India exported 2,500 units in July '24, with Seltos contributing 932. The Sonet and Carens contributed 740 and 833 units to Kia India's overseas dispatches for the month.

Kia India is one of a few carmakers in India that have posted growth in July 2024 monthly sales. As per Vahan, Kia India recorded a growth of 26% against the industry average of 9% in the month. Speaking on this achievement, Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar – Senior Vice President and National Head of Sales & Marketing, said, “We have registered a healthy Y-o-Y sales growth in July 2024, a good head-start for the Q3 and H2 of the year. This reflects the trust and love the customers have in Kia. The success of the newly launched Sonet and the overall performance of our diverse product range demonstrates our commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative, and customer-centric solutions. We are determined to maintain this momentum throughout the year, which should give us all confidence in our future success."
Kia India Future Roadmap
At this moment, Kia India offers four models — Seltos, Sonet, Carens and EV6. The Carnival was discontinued, making way for the new-gen model that is on its way for the Indian market. While both the Seltos and Sonet have already been updated with major facelifts, the Carens is due for a facelift, which has already been spied on multiple occasions. The new Carens will offer a new design, putting the MPV in line with the new Kia models.

In addition to the Carens update, Kia India is also gearing up to introduce two new models in the Indian market — a small SUV slotted between the Sonet and Seltos and the new-gen Carnival MPV. The upcoming Kia models positioned in the high-volume segments will surely drive sales to Kia India, further enhancing the carmaker’s market share.
