In February 2025, on the other hand, Kia India sold 25,026 units, which is only marginally lower than March 2025 sales.

Kia cars FY24 sales
Furthermore, Kia India dispatched a total of 2,55,207 units in the financial year 2024-25, marking a growth of 4% compared to last year. Speaking of the last quarter of the financial year, the carmaker registered 65,369 units, registering a growth of 15.6%. Lastly, Kia cars India exports stood at 26,892 units in the financial year 2024-25.
Model distribution in sales
The Kia Sonet continues to be the best-selling Kia model, registering 30% share in the lineup. Models including the Seltos, Carens and Syros command 26%, 22% and 20% share, respectively. The remaining 2% share is accounted for by niche models like the EV6, Carnival and EV9.
Kia Syros sales
The Kia Syros—the carmaker’s latest offering in the Indian market—has not received the runaway success the carmaker had expected. However, the Syros has registered total sales of 15,986 units since its launch. We believe that the sales will pick up, once the prospective customers become used to the rather polarising design of the Syros, as it grows older and marks its presence felt on the Indian roads.
