There seems to be some new tip-toe moment from BYD, as it registered a new patent design for the BYD Denza N9 model in October. This has noticeably caught the attention of many online. Interestingly, this model was also showcased at the recent Guangzhou Auto Show in China in November 2024.
BYD has already confirmed its participation in the upcoming Bharat Auto Expo 2025 and expressed plans to showcase cutting-edge EV models. BYD Denza N9 hybrid & EV specs
The Denza N9 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a three-motor plug-in hybrid system. The engine alone delivers 207PS of power. The front motor produces 272PS, while each of the rear motors generates 326PS. The combined output reaches 938PS. It packs a 47kWh blade-cell battery and offers an electric-range of 165 km.
The BYD Denza N9 measures 5258mm in length, 2030mm in width, and 1830mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125mm.

Could the BYD Denza N9 launch in India?
The BYD Denza N9 was showcased globally at the Auto Guangzhou 2024, but its official launch is still awaited, with China likely to be the first market. As for the BYD Denza N9 India launch, nothing is confirmed yet. However, given that the design has been patented in India, there’s a slight hope it could eventually come here, though not anytime soon.
