Indian Fronx vs Japanese Fronx: What’s Different?
Powertrains
There are some key differences between the Indian Fronx and Japanese-spec Fronx. Starting with the powertrain, the cars that’ll be sold in Japan get a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine, which can be paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine options in India include a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed AT.
Another notable difference is the option of AWD configuration on the Japanese Fronx, which the Fronx sold in India misses on. The AWD is offered with four off-road modes — Auto, Sport, Snow, and Lock. The suspension is also retuned in order to suit Japanese road conditions.

Interior & Features
In terms of features, the Suzuki Fronx bound for the Japanese market gets an ADAS suite with functionalities such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. The seats get a heating function, and there’s an electronic parking brake with hill-hold function too. It also gets front parking sensors. The Suzuki Fronx gets a dark brown and plum-coloured interior, with piano black finish on various surfaces. The upholstery is a combination of leatherette and cloth.

Suzuki Fronx Colour Options
The Suzuki Fronx gets nine colour options for the exterior, including five dual-tone options and four mono-tone ones. In comparison, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx colour options include a total of ten colours, with three dual-tone and seven single colour options.
