This evaluation includes two key tests — the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test, where it achieved 14.84 out of 16, and the Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test, where it secured a perfect 16 out of 16.

The Hyundai Tucson received an overall score of 41 points out of 49 for child occupant protection. This score was derived from three key evaluations. In the dynamic test, it secured 24 out of 24, showcasing strong performance. For the CRS (Child Restraint System) Installation, it achieved a perfect score of 12 out of 12. However, in the vehicle assessment category, the Tucson had a slightly weaker result, scoring 5 out of 13.

The Hyundai Tucson comes equipped with standard safety features, including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, VSM, hill-assist control, downhill brake control, TPMS, Blind View Monitor, 360-degree camera, electronic shift lock system, ISOFIX child seat anchors, front and rear parking cameras, rear camera with dynamic guidelines, seatbelt reminders for all seats, front seatbelt pretensioners, engine immobilizer, and speed-sensing auto door locks.
