The Hyundai Inster is Hyundai’s smallest EV that has been given a makeover, in order to extend its visual appeal to a unique audience base, who want rugged looks in a small city-friendly form factor. Moving to the changes on the inside, the Inster Cross will offer a unique colour combination, which includes grey fabric with lime green inserts. Hyundai Inster Cross battery, motor specifications

Talking about its specifications, the Inster Cross shares the battery and motor with the regular Inster electric crossover. On a single charge, the Inster Cross is capable of covering over 360 kilometres. Once depleted, the battery can be replenished from 10 to 80% in under 30 minutes. Coming to the motor specifications, it comes with a 115PS electric motor that also provides 147Nm of torque.

Is the Hyundai Inster Cross India bound?

Multiple reports suggest that Hyundai is planning to launch as many as four mainstream electric vehicles in the Indian market. While one has already been confirmed, which happens to be the Creta EV, the remaining models are still under the wraps. While there is no official confirmation on the same, one of these models could be the Inster, either in the regular form or the Cross format. There is a substantial space for an entry-level electric vehicle in the market to go against the likes of the Tata Tiago EV, MG Comet EV and the upcoming electric hatchbacks from Renault and Nissan.
