Hyundai Creta Facelift Crosses 1 Lakh Sales Under 6 Months

Hyundai Motor India updated its best-selling model, the Hyundai Creta, with a thorough facelift in January 2024. Since the launch of the Hyundai Creta facelift, Hyundai has managed to sell over 1 lakh units of the mid-sized SUV in the Indian market, that too under a remarkable time of 6 months. The Hyundai Creta continues to be not only the class-leading SUV but also one of the best-selling SUVs in the Indian market.

Hyundai Creta Facelift 1 Lakh Sales Milestone

As we mentioned earlier, Hyundai managed to sell 1 lakh units of the Hyundai Creta facelift in the last 6 months. The camaker reveals that 550 units of the Hyundai Creta were sold everyday for the past 6 months, helping in achieving this remarkable milestone. The Hyundai Creta was first launched back in 2015 and ever since its first launch, the SUV has gone through one generation change and two facelifts, combining to reach a sales milestone of 10 lakh units in the Indian market.

The first-gen Hyundai Creta was a blockbuster hit from day one. Its powerful and frugal engine options offered with a macho styling and long list of features help the Creta to demolish the segment. The second-generation, however, was a mixed bag but a resounding success nonetheless. The design didn’t appeal to the buyers initially but the sensibility associated with the Creta was too hard to resist. The new Hyundai Creta facelift solves the design aspect while also keeping it up to date with the latest trends of the market.

The Hyundai Creta facelift offers 3 powertrain options — 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel and 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol — all of which are offered with manual as well as automatic transmission options. Coming to its features, the Hyundai Creta facelift offers dual 10.25-inch screens, Level-2 ADAS, 360-degree parking camera, front ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof and more.
