Hyundai cars price hike April 2025

Hyundai Motor India will hike the prices of its cars by up to 3% from April 2025 onwards. The price hike has been announced in order to offset the effect of rising input costs, increased commodity prices and higher operation costs, among other miscellaneous things. Hyundai is yet to reveal the model-wise prices for the month of April 2025, which will see a hike compared to the current prices. We expect Hyundai to officially announce the revised prices as we step into the month of April.

“We strive to absorb rising costs to the extent possible, ensuring minimal impact on our customers. However, with the sustained increase in operational expenses, it has now become imperative to pass on a part of this cost escalation through a minor price adjustment. The price increase will be effective in April 2025.”, said Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, HMIL. 

It is worth noting that Hyundai isn’t the only carmaker that has acted upon the increasing commodity prices and input costs. Rather, it has joined carmakers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Kia India and Honda Cars India, who have recently announced price hikes for their respective portfolio in the Indian market. As we step into the month of April 2025, we will see a considerable increase in car prices among the majority of carmakers in the country.
