- 2To offer front and rear seat ventilation
- 3Launch on September 9; bookings open
Hyundai India has revealed the top features of the Alcazar facelift ahead of its launch, which are quite a few, including segment-first features. Hyundai has already started accepting bookings for the Alcazar facelift and the launch is slated to take place on September 9, 2024. In this article, we share the Hyundai Alcazar facelift top features.
Front And Rear Ventilated Seats
The Hyundai Alcazar facelift will offer seat ventilation for both first- and second-row seats. Based on the images revealed yet, the seat ventilation for the second row is offered in the variants equipped with the captain chairs. The captain seats also offer individual armrests and tray tables to hold small devices like iPad.
NFC-Based Car Unlock
In one of the teaser videos, the carmaker also revealed the HFC-based car unlock in the Alcazar facelift. We assume that Hyundai will use its smartphone app and the in-built NFC to offer a digital key, which then can be used to unlock the car with just one tap at the driver-side door handle. This feature will negate the driver to carry the physical key of the Alcazar facelift.

Powered Passenger Seat With Boss Mode
While the outgoing Alcazar offered a powered driver’s seat, the Alcazar facelift further added a powered passenger seat with electric boss mode. The latter feature enables the passenger sitting behind the co-passenger to adjust the seat in front with just a press of a few buttons placed on the side of the front seat. In addition, just like the driver’s seat, the co-passenger seat is also 8-way power-adjustable, unlocking a new degree of adjustability.
Memory Seat With Welcome Function
In addition to offering powered seats, Hyundai has also added a memory function for the driver, which enables multiple drivers to set their respective preferred driving position. With just one press of a button, the driver can summon its preset driving position. In addition, when you unlock the Alcazar facelift, it will greet the driver by pushing the driver’s seat behind, thereby enabling an easy ingress into the cabin.

Like the updated Hyundai Creta, the new Alcazar facelift will also offer a dual connected screen setup. The flowing connected screen setup includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well as a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. The infotainment system is unlikely to offer wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which is offered by the rivals of the new Alcazar.
