Honda Cars India has revealed its March 2025 sales, which reveal a continuation of the downward trend that the carmaker is facing for the past few months. Honda March 2025 total car sales registered a decline of 14.7%, while the domestic sales grew by a small margin. As you can see in the table, Honda cars India domestic sales have seen a YoY growth by 157 units. However, the exports in the same month over last year have seen a big slump, by a considerable 2,204 units. Due to the dip in exports, Honda Cars India March 2025 sales recorded a slump of 14.7% year-on-year.

However, if we compare the March 2025 sales Month-on-Month with February 2025, the carmaker has registered an overall increase in volumes by 1,561 units. However, the exports saw a dip of 51 units, which is marginal compared to the considerable dip in the month of March 2025 YoY.

Honda FY 2024-25 yearly sales
The total annual sales saw a modest rise from 124,173 units in the previous fiscal year to 126,151 units in FY 2024-25. Domestic sales stood at 65,925 units, while exports surged to 60,226 units, reflecting a 60% growth—the highest export volume in the company's history. Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at HCIL, noted that the company's performance aligned with current market conditions. Despite domestic market challenges, strong exports of the Elevate model to Japan boosted overall numbers. Behl added that the recent launch of the All-New Amaze has strengthened Honda's position in the family sedan segment.
