The fourth generation BMW X3 made its global debut in June, showcasing some fresh tweaks to its exterior while keeping some familiar design elements intact. For India, the launch has been set for January next year, and it’s expected to take place at the Bharat Expo show. Exterior features that offer a touch of class
The upcoming 2025 BMW X3 keeps its familiar design but adds some fresh tweaks with sharper lines for a sleeker look. The roofline flows smoothly to meet the rear, giving it a streamlined appearance. Up front, the kidney grille gets a new layout with vertical and diagonal bars, while the sharper headlights feature L-shaped LED lights inside for a modern touch. The rear window is flush-mounted and bordered by a long roof spoiler, adding to the car's sporty feel. At the back, you’ll notice T-shaped taillights along with vertically stacked reflectors, giving the rear a bold finish.
The new X3 is set to have a wider stance compared to its predecessor. It will measure 4,755 mm in length, which is 34 mm longer than before. Additionally, the width will increase by 29 mm, bringing it to 1,920 mm. However, the height will slightly decrease to 1,660 mm, making it 25 mm lower than the previous model.
Features
Inside, the vehicle will feature a larger infotainment display and a digital cluster that connects seamlessly. It will come with the latest iDrive 9 operating system, a wireless charger, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and automatic climate control for added comfort. You can expect a premium sound system and three driving modes: Personal, Sport, and Efficient, among other exciting features.
Additionally, it will be equipped as standard with advanced safety technologies, including front collision warning, Lane Departure Warning, Speed Limit Info, Lane Change Warning, Speed Limit Assist, and more.
Under the hood
Under the hood, it will feature a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 211PS and 320Nm of torque. There's also a diesel option that will generate 200PS and 400Nm of torque. Both engines will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, ensuring smooth driving.
