Ford Everest Tremor SUV Launched In Australia — Top Details

While we keep pondering over the possibility of Ford’s re-renty into the Indian market, the Aussies are continuously being spoilt for choice. Ford has just introduced a meaner version of the Everest SUV in the Australian market, which it has named the Ford Everest Tremor. What’s special about this SUV, you ask? Well, here’s an article about the new 2024 Ford Everest Tremor introduced in Australia.

2024 Ford Everest Tremor SUV - What Is It?

The Everest Tremor is a jacked up version of Ford’s Everest SUV, which we knew as the Ford Endeavour in India. Powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine, it delivers 250PS of power and 600Nm of torque to all the four wheels via a 10-speed automatic ‘box. Thanks to the Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, new springs, and 17-inch General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tyres, it gets a 26mm bump in ground clearance. 

The Everest also gets a crawl feature. Added heavy-duty side steps, a steel bash plate, a honeycomb grille, and auxiliary LED headlamps, the Everest Tremor stands out from the regular Ford Everest SUV.

Ford’s Re-Entry In India?

Although there has been no official communication from the American automaker on any plans to re-enter the Indian market, there are rumours and reports every now and then about the same. If Ford does plan to make a comeback to India anytime soon, we expect it to bring the new Ford Everest and probably the Ford Ranger pick-up truck as well. Hope they have a better strategy for our market this time.
