Exclusive: New Maruti Suzuki Dzire launch date revealed — Check all details!

After the launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift earlier this year, the launch of the new Dzire was imminent. Dealer sources have now revealed to us that the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire launch date has been set at November 11, 2024. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Maruti Dzire.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The new Dzire shares the Heartect platform with the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift, though it gets a whole new styling on the outside. The Dzire features more defined lines and sharp surfaces rather than the curvy ones seen on the hatchback. It gets a large grille at the front and arrow-like lights at the rear.

Upcoming Maruti Dzire features

As revealed by spy shots earlier, the new Dzire gets a sunroof that the outgoing model did not. It also gets a 360-degree camera setup. Other expected features include 6 airbags as standard, wireless charger, a  9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, semi-digital driver’s display, and more.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire powertrain details

The new-gen Dzire will share its 1.2-litre Z-series engine with the new Swift. Replacing the 4-cylinder with the new 3-cylinder engine, the new Dzire will offer enhanced fuel efficiency as well. In the Swift, the new 1.2-litre engine puts out 81PS of power at 5700rpm and 112Nm of torque at 4300rpm. Both the outputs are lower than the outputs of the 1.2-litre K-series engine offered in the ongoing Dzire sedan. The new engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual as well as a 5-speed automated manual transmission.

New Maruti Dzire launch date in India

Dealer sources have revealed to us that the new Dzire is going to be launched on November 11, 2024, amidst this year’s festive season. Once launched, it will go against the likes of other sub-compact sedans like the Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and the upcoming Honda Amaze.
