- 2Buyers have to pay Rs 80,000 for CNG retrofitting
- 3Honda Elevate is priced between Rs 11.91 lakh and Rs 16.73 lakh
While most buyers are familiar with the Honda Elevate in its petrol powertrain option, there’s something for CNG users too — but there’s a little twist. The Honda Elevate CNG is available, though not as a factory-fitted option. Instead, it comes through a dealer-fitted retrofit CNG kit. For this, buyers need to pay around Rs 80,000 to the dealership, which also covers the installation and necessary paperwork. Keep reading below for a closer look at everything you need to know about the Honda Elevate CNG.

The Honda Elevate CNG is available only through a retrofitted option; there's no factory-fitted version offered in Honda models. This is similar to the Honda Amaze CNG, which also comes with a dealer-fitted retrofit kit. So, how does this process work? The buyer will first purchase the regular Honda Elevate with a petrol engine.
Afterwards, the owner will need to reach out to a dealership for the retrofit. However, it’s important to know that only select dealerships offer this conversion service, and they use government-approved retrofit kits.
According to our dealership sources, the retrofit is only available for the Honda Elevate SV, V, and VX variants. Due to the ADAS feature in the ZX variant, CNG conversion is not available for this trim. Even after the conversion to CNG, the vehicle will continue to have its standard warranty coverage.

Honda Elevate CNG boot space
The Honda Elevate CNG will mostly be the same as the regular Elevate. The main difference will be in the boot space—since the CNG tank will be placed in the boot, the 458-litre space will be reduced. Inside the cabin, there will also be an extra button in the Elevate CNG interior to switch between petrol and CNG mode.
Honda Elevate CNG booking
As for the Honda Elevate CNG booking, since Honda doesn’t offer the CNG option as an official variant, it is only available through retrofitting at the dealership level. Because of this, the entire process is offline, and buyers will need to reach out to the dealership directly.

The Honda Elevate comes with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces 121PS of power and 145NM of torque. It can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. As for the Honda Elevate CNG, it is expected to be offered only with the manual gearbox.

ZX | Rs 15.41 lakh | Rs 16.63 lakh |
ZX Black | Rs 15.51 lakh | Rs 16.73 lakh |
The Honda Elevate price starts at Rs 11.91 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.73 lakh. Since the CNG version is expected to come only with a manual gearbox, the Honda Elevate CNG price will likely be the regular cost of the manual variant, with around Rs 80,000 added for the CNG kit.
Apart from this, the Honda Elevate is also available with discounts this April. But for those who are looking to save more and want a bigger cut on the purchase, exploring a used Honda Elevate model can also be a good option for staying within budget.
