Electric Mini Countryman Launched In India - See All Details

It’s a big day for the BMW Group as it has launched four new products for the Indian market today. These include the eighth-generation BMW 5 Series LWB, BMW CE 04 electric scooter, fifth-generation Mini Cooper S and the all-electric Mini Countryman. Here’s an article about the third-generation Mini Countryman, which has been launched in a new avatar. 

2024 Mini Countryman Design 

The 2024 Mini Countryman shares its platform with the BMW iX1. It is larger than its predecessor; 130mm longer and 60mm taller to be precise. It gets new angular headlamps and DRLs, and rose-goldenish cladding around the front grille, front & rear bumpers, rocker panels and at the C-pillar. The Countryman is available in 9 colours, and there are two additional design packs on offer — Classic Pack and Favoured Pack — for a more personalised styling. You can get either 17-inch or 19-inch wheels, depending upon the pack chosen.

Electric Mini Countryman Battery & Range

The 2024 Mini Cooper S comes with a 66.45kWh lithium-oin battery pack, with a WLTP range of 462 kilometres. The power output is 204hp and a maximum torque of 250Nm. It takes 8.6 seconds to go from 0 to 100kph. Charging time is claimed to be 3hrs 45mins for 0-100% with the standard 22kW AC charger. The 130kW DC charger can charge the car from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes. 

New Mini Countryman Interior & Features

Akin to the Cooper S, the third-gen Mini Countryman interior has a large circular touch-screen infotainment system at the centre of the dashboard. It doesn’t have any instrument cluster behind the steering wheel as its functionalities have also been shifted to the central screen. It gets a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats and ambient lighting. There are multiple upholstery options too, like those for the Cooper S, such as standard multitone double-cloth textile, sports seats with Vescin grey and JCW sports seats with Vintage brown, just to name a few.

2024 Mini Countryman Price

Just like the new Mini Cooper S, the Mini Countryman is also available as a CBU. The 2024 Mini Countryman price starts from Rs 54.90 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which includes a MINI Smart Wallbox charger with one-time installation. You can book the Countryman through your nearest dealership or via the Mini Online Shop. The deliveries are set to begin from September 2024.
