Citroen C3 price hiked in India — See new price list

Following the recent launch of the C3 Dark Edition, Citroen India has announced C3 price hike, which increases the prices by up to Rs 7,000. However, some Citroen C3 variants are unaffected from the price hike. Read on to know more about the Citroen C3 price hike and the updated price list as well.

Citroen C3 price hiked

Citroen India has hiked the prices of the C3 hatchback by up to Rs 7,000 for the base variant. Furthermore, the petrol automatic variant prices remain the same as before whereas middle variants also see a price revision. Few variants discontinued

In addition to the price hike, Citroen India has also discontinued a few C3 variants, which were earlier available. These variants include Shine Vibe Pack for the normal petrol, turbo petrol manual and turbo petrol automatic. The Vibe Pack offered cosmetic updates over the standard model and boasted a distinctive visual appeal.

Citroen C3 engine options

The Citroen C3 offers two engine options — a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol, with both being the 3-cylinder engines. The naturally-aspirated engine produces 82PS of power and 115Nm of torque whereas the turbocharged engine produces 110PS of power and 190Nm (205Nm with the automatic) of torque. Transmission options could include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, with the latter two exclusive to the turbo petrol engine only.
