Citroen C3 automatic price starts from Rs.10 lakh – Check all details

Citroen India launched the automatic version of its C3 hatchback on August 19, but they didn't announce the prices right away. Now, the pricing details are finally out, with the automatic variant starting at Rs 10 lakh. The base variant, Live, is priced at Rs 6.16 lakh. In the following section, I’ll walk u through the full list of prices, the available variants, as well as the latest features, engine options, and other updates that the C3 offers. Variants & prices

If you’re a fan of automatic transmissions, you’ll find that Citroen reserves this option for its top-end Shine variants in the C5 model. The automatic gearbox starts with the Turbo Shine AT, priced at Rs 9,99,800. The price goes up slightly to Rs 10,26,800 for the Turbo Shine AT Dual Tone Vibe Pack. Interestingly, there’s only a small difference of Rs 27,000 between the two variants, giving you more choices without a huge price jump.

Updated features: What’s new?

In the table above, I’ve highlighted some features introduced in the Citroen C3 model that are exclusive to the top Shine variant. This update includes enhancements to both exterior elements and features in the interior and safety categories.

In addition to these upgrades, this model continues to offer features like a 10.23-inch Connect Touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, four speakers, all four power windows, and a day/night inside rearview mirror. On the safety side, you also get six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, an engine immobilizer, a high-speed alert system, and speed-sensitive auto door locking, among others.

Under the hood

There are two engine options available in the Citroen C3. The first is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that produces 82ps of power and 115nm of torque. This engine is paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission. The second option is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which generates 110ps of power. When matched with the manual gearbox, it delivers 190nm of torque, while in the automatic gearbox, it offers an even higher torque of 205 Nm.
