Citroen Basalt Dark Edition launched in India — Price starts at Rs 12.80 lakh!

Citroen India has announced the Citroen Basalt Dark Edition price, starting from Rs 12.80 lakh onwards. This Dark Edition is based on the top-spec Max variant of the model and features an all-black exterior and interior. Interestingly, this is the first time Citroen has introduced a dark edition across its models. Along with the Basalt, the Citroen Aircross Dark Edition and Citroen C3 Dark Edition prices have also been revealed. The Citroen Basalt Dark Edition exterior comes with a Perla Nera black body shade, giving it a bold look. It features dark chrome finishes around the front grille, chevron badge, and side body molding. The car also gets an exclusive grille embellisher, along with a glossy black finish around the door handles and bumpers, adding to its dark theme.

The Citroen Basalt Dark Edition interior grabs attention with its carbon black theme and contrasting lava red details. There are high-gloss elements placed throughout. Inside, the car features Metropolitan Black leatherette seats, along with custom elements like a custom leatherette-wrapped instrument panel and seat covers.

Citroen Basalt Dark Edition engine specs

The Citroen Basalt Dark Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine that delivers 110PS of power. It comes with the option of a manual gearbox, offering 190NM of torque, or an automatic gearbox with 205NM of torque.
