Skoda India has been selling around 3,250 cars every month, while its sister-company, Volkswagen India, sells around 3,750. Most of Skoda’s sales comes from the Kushaq and Slavia, with Kushaq leading the pack. Here’s a list of the best selling Skoda cars in India over the past 6 months.

Skoda Kushaq
The Kushaq has fared as Skoda India’s most-selling car, selling 2,573 more units than the Slavia over the past 6 months. The Kushaq comes with two engine options — 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI. Skoda Kushaq rivals include Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and of course, the Taigun.

Skoda Slavia
Unlike Volkswagen, the sedan has been left behind by the Kushaq in the list of the brand’s top selling cars. Sitting at the second spot, the Skoda Slavia comes with the same set of powertrains as seen on the Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Volkswagen Virtus. Popular Skoda Slavia rivals include Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
Skoda Kodiaq
Skoda Kodiaq, the Czech carmaker’s flagship SUV in India, garnered 1,153 units of sales over the last six months, averaging around 190 units a month. The Kodiaq comes equipped with a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DSG. It comes in an AWD configuration and rivals cars such as Volkswagen Tiguan, Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Hyundai Tucson and the new Nissan X-Trail. The second generation Skoda Kodiaq will be launched in India around May 2025.

Skoda Superb
Being a CBU, the current Skoda Superb is outrageously expensive, carrying a price tag that starts at Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Skoda India still managed to find 33 buyers for the Superb over the last six months, with just 1 car sold in December 2024. The Superb features the same powertrain as that of the Kodiaq, but comes in a FWD configuration. The next-gen Superb will also be here in 2025, and is likely to be assembled in India too.
