Other small SUVs and hatchbacks also did their share of work and brought in satisfactory sales numbers. Here’s a list of the best selling Hyundai cars in India over the past 6 months.

Hyundai Creta

Hyundai Creta is unsurprisingly Hyundai’s best-selling car if we look at the data from the last 6 months. The Creta accounts for almost a third share in HMIL’s sales in India, averaging at 16,100 units a month. Just to put things in perspective, Skoda India sold a total of 15,706 cars in the past 6 months, including sales of all its four models!

Hyundai Venue

Hyundai Venue has also been doing its part in getting revenue for the South Korean carmaker. Hyundai sold 55,876 units of the Venue over the past 6 months, averaging at around 9,300 units monthly. Hyundai Venue rivals include Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.

Hyundai Exter

Averaging at 7,250 units a month, the Hyundai Exter was Hyundai’s third most-selling car over the past 6 months. This tall hatchback is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that comes paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. There’s also an option for a factory-fitted CNG option.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes fourth in the list of the best-selling Hyundai cars in India. Hyundai sold 30,714 units of the Grand i10 Nios over the last six months, averaging at around 5,100 units per month. Just like the Exter, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine and also comes with the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit.

Hyundai i20

The Hyundai i20 wasn’t far away from the Grand i10 Nios, selling around 30,688 units over the same period, which was a meagre 26 units less than the Grand i10 Nios. The regular i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, while the i20 N-Line gets a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Hyundai i20 rivals include Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor.
