With all the excitement surrounding the upcoming launch of the fourth-generation Kia Carnival, it’s been announced that the official release date in India is set for October 3rd. Recently, Kia has been gradually revealing more details about this new model. Detailed look at its design & colour options
The upcoming fourth-generation Kia Carnival, set to arrive in India via the CBU route, brings a fresh new design compared to the older model previously sold here. The new Carnival features a bold and modern look, starting with L-shaped LED DRLs and vertically stacked headlights at the front. The grille is striking, and below it, you'll find wide air vents that add to the boxy, assertive appearance of the front face.
On the sides, the vehicle showcases wide windows and roof rails, enhancing its sleek profile. At the rear, the connected C-shaped taillights and sharp roof fin contribute to a sporty look, complemented by a roof spoiler and a sporty rear underbelly spoiler. This model will be available in two colour options: Fusion Black and Glacier White Pearl, and it offers seating for up to seven people.

What’s included with comfort, convenience, and safety features?
On the features side, it will come equipped with a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen navigation system compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 13.3-inch HD display for the instrument cluster, and an 11-inch head-up display. The second row offers ventilation, heating, and leg support for added comfort. Additionally, it includes 12 Bose speakers, wireless smartphone connectivity, a smart power tailgate, a smart key with push-button start, and an auto anti-glare rearview mirror, among other features.
On the safety front, the vehicle will be equipped with a comprehensive suite of features. It includes 8 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill assist control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, all-wheel disc brakes, and ISO-FIX child seat anchors. Plus, it features level-2 ADAS with 23 autonomous safety features designed to keep your drive as safe as possible.
Upcoming Kia Carnival: Engine, pricing, variants and rivals
Under the hood, the upcoming fourth-generation Kia Carnival will feature a 2.2-litre diesel engine that delivers 190PS and 441Nm of peak torque. It will come with an 8-speed automatic transmission that will channel power to the front wheels only.
The previous Kia Carnival, launched in 2020, was priced between Rs 24.95 lakh and Rs 33.95 lakh, with three variants: Premium, Prestige, and Limousine. The new fourth-generation model is expected to start at around Rs 39 lakh and will be available in two trims: Limousine and Limousine Plus. While it faces competition from several MPVs, including the Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Innova Hycross, and Maruti Invicto, the Carnival isn’t positioned as a premium option but offers a more affordable choice in its segment.
