Volvo Cars India has given its flagship SUV in India a mid-life update, featuring design changes and feature additions. The new XC90 costs slightly more than the outgoing model, and goes against popular luxury SUVs in India like the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Audi Q7. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 Volvo XC90 facelift.

New Volvo XC90 facelift price in India

The updated Volvo XC90 has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.03 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Volvo XC90 colour options include Crystal White, Onyx Black, Denim Blue, Bright Dusk, Vapour Grey, and a new Mulberry Red.

2025 Volvo XC90 facelift powertrain specs

The XC90 continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged-petrol engine with a 48V-mild-hybrid system. Rated power and torque output figures stand at 253PS and 360Nm. The SUV comes with an all-wheel drive setup and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

New Volvo XC90 dimensions and design

The rear face and the silhouette remains more or less identical to the outgoing model, but the front face features significant changes, particularly a new front grille and new T-shaped headlights. There are reprofiled bumpers and new alloy wheels too, and an optional air suspension setup that can raise the ground clearance from 238mm to 267mm.

The Volvo XC90 facelift interior also seems to be quite familiar to the pre-facelift model. Key Volvo XC90 features include a bigger 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 19-speaker premium sound system, memory function for the seats, and more.
