2025 Volkswagen Tiguan launched

The Volkswagen Tiguan steps into its new generation in the Indian market and while doing so, gets up in a racy R Line attire, which was not on offer before. Starting with the 2025 Tiguan dimensions, the family SUV measures 4,539mm in length, 1,859mm in width, 1,656mm in height and commands a wheelbase of 2,680mm.

On the design front, since the India-spec Tiguan comes exclusively in the R Line trim, it packs several sporty add-ons inside and out. On the outside, its key elements include a different grille with R Line badging, R-inspired 19-inch alloy wheels and a connected LED light bar at the rear. Furthermore, the Tiguan R Line colour options include Persimmon Red Metallic, Cipressino Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Oryx White Pearl & Oyster Silver Metallic.

On the inside, the sporty theme is carried forward. Its key design details include R Line sports seats and an illuminated R logo on the dashboard. Under the hood, the VW Tiguan R-Line comes equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine. The said engine produces 204PS of peak power and 320Nm of maximum torque. It will be paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and VW's 4Motion AWD system.

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line top speed is claimed to be 229 km/h, and it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds.
