2025 Toyota Hyryder launched — Gets more safety features as standard!

Toyota India has updated the Urban Cruiser Hyryder with 2025 model year updates, bringing in new features and better safety. Furthermore, the Japanese carmaker has also updated the AWD powertrain option with an automatic transmission. Read on to know what all has been changed in the updated 2025 Toyota Hyryder. 

2025 Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder — What’s changed

Cosmetically, the 2025 Toyota Hyryder remains the same as the outgoing model. However, variants equipped with the self-charging hybrid variants now come with “HEV” badging on the front doors instead of the “Hybrid” badging on the outgoing model. Moving on to the 2025 Toyota Hyryder safety features, the SUV now offers 6 airbags as standard whereas automatic variants now come with an electronic parking brake with auto hold function. Additionally, the carmaker has also enhanced the structural integrity of certain bits in order to improve overall safety.

Coming to the features, Toyota has introduced a few new features to the updated 2025 Urban Cruiser Hyryder, bringing in more value than the outgoing model. Speaking of these new features, the 2025 Hyryder offers 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear doors sunshade, tyre pressure monitoring system, ambient lighting, 15W Type-C charging ports, LED reading lights, AQI display and an updated speedometer for enhanced visibility.

2025 Toyota Hyryder AWD AT introduced

While the 2025 Toyota Hyryder continues with the same set of engine options, the low-selling 1.5-litre petrol AWD variant has received a change—a transmission swap. Toyota has replaced the 5-speed manual transmission of the AWD with a 6-speed torquer converter automatic, aligning with the customer demand and preferences. The rest of the powertrain options—which include the 1.5-litre normal petrol, 1.5-litre petrol-CNG and 1.5-litre self-charging hybrid—remain the same as before.

The 2025 Toyota Hyryder price begins from Rs 11.34 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi, which is around Rs 20,000 more than the outgoing model’s base price. This price change can be attributed to the introduction of 6 airbags and TPMS as a standard fitment in the 2025 model. The Toyota Hyryder normal petrol price ranges between Rs 11.34 lakh and Rs 19.14 lakh whereas the CNG price ranges between Rs 13.81 lakh and Rs 15.84 lakh. The 2025 Toyota Hyryder hybrid price ranges between Rs 16.81 lakh and Rs 20.19 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi.
