2025 Tata Altroz facelift spotted — Everything you need to know

It’s no secret that Tata Motors is readying the Altroz facelift that is about to hit the showroom floors. While we have already caught a glimpse of the updated model, a new set of images of the upcoming 2025 Tata Altroz CNG have come, revealing the key details about the updated premium hatchback. 2025 Tata Altroz facelift spotted again

The updated Tata Altroz facelift will come a slew of cosmectic updates over the outgoing model. The spy shots reveal the updated front fascia featuring a new set of LED headlights along with integrated LED DRLs. Other changes could include reprofiled front and rear bumpers, new set of LED tail lights and a new set of alloy wheels as well. However, the CNG model spotted on test was running on steel wheels, hinting towards it being a lower variant of the premium hatchback.

New Tata Altroz interior and features

On the inside, we can expect to see a revised dashboard layout with new design elements, new steering wheel and seat upholstery. Other than that, the Altroz already gets a long list of features, which were introduced with the Altroz Racer. The current Altroz offers features such as surround view camera, ventilated front seats, front parking sensors, electric sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, driving modes, air purifier and much more. However, we can expect a feature rejig across variants, making the good-to-have features more accessible at lower price points.

2025 Tata Altroz powertrain details

The new Tata Altroz CNG facelift is likely to continue with the same 1.2-litre petrol-CNG powertrain option. In the current form, this engine—when running on the CNG mode—puts out 73.5PS of power and 103Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only. Furthermore, the Altroz comes with a 1.2-litre normal petrol and a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, with the former also offering the option of a dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

2025 Tata Altroz launch timeline

We expect Tata Motors to launch the Altroz facelift in June 2025. Given the set of changes, we expect to see a small price hike across the Altroz facelift variants. Currently, the Tata Altroz price starts at Rs 6.65 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 11.30 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. The Tata Altroz rivals include the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza and Hyundai i20, with the former two leading the premium hatchback segment.
