The updated Skoda Kodiaq will get a claimed mileage figure of 14.86kmpl, as per ARAI testing cycles. For reference, the first generation Skoda Kodiaq had a claimed mileage of 13.32kmpl. The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq real life mileage will vary depending on various factors such as driving habits, traffic conditions, terrain, and more.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq engine specs

The India-spec Skoda Kodiaq will continue to come with a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that has been tuned to produce 204PS of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque. The turbo-petrol will be paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Skoda-VW’s 4Motion four-wheel drive system.

Next gen Skoda Kodiaq design and dimensions 

The new Kodiaq follows the ‘Modern Solid’ design language with smoother character lines and a calmer overall flow. The rear has been softened and so has the front. The face features split headlamps and Skoda’s iconic octagonal grille. The rear gets connected lights with ‘SKODA’ lettering in the middle. Skoda Kodiaq interior and features

The interior of the SUV has also been redesigned, with a bigger 13-inch touchscreen at the centre of the dashboard, and three rotary dials, one of which is customisable, just like that on the Superb. Other Skoda Kodiaq features include a 10-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, heated, ventilated, and massage seats, and more. 

Skoda Kodiaq 2025 variants and colours

The Kodiaq will be offered in two variants — Sportline and L&K. 2025 Skoda Kodiaq colour options include Bronx Gold Metallic, Steel Grey, Velvet Red Metallic, Race Blue Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic, Magic Black Metallic, and Moon White Metallic.

Skoda Kodiaq launch date in India

The new Skoda Kodiaq price in India will be announced on April 17, 2025, and is expected to cost upwards of Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom). Its sister car, the Volkswagen Tiguan, has just been launched in India today, at an ex-showroom price of Rs 48.99 lakh for the top-spec R-Line trim.
