2025 Skoda Enyaq facelift design sketches revealed — India-bound?

Skoda Auto has released a couple of design sketches of what it claims to be the upcoming Skoda Enyaq facelift. The current model that is on sale in global markets was launched four years back, and a facelift of the same has been planned for 2025-26. Notably, the upcoming Skoda Enyaq SUV in India might be the updated model that has been teased in these sketches. Read more about this ahead.

Skoda Enyaq electric SUV

The Enyaq is Skoda’s popular electric SUV that has been built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform that underpins a range of electric cars and SUVs from brands like Skoda, Volkswagen, and Audi. Globally, the Enyaq is available in two body styles — crossover and coupe — and in two configurations — rear wheel drive and all wheel drive.

Upcoming Skoda Enyaq facelift sketches

Skoda has just released a couple of design sketches for the upcoming Skoda Enyaq facelift that is expected to arrive sometime in 2025-26. The updated Enyaq shall encompass Skoda’s new Modern Solid design language that we first saw on the new Skoda Kylaq, which emphasises minimalistic elements and clean surfaces. The powertrain options on the new Skoda Enyaq are likely to remain unchanged, and major changes are expected to be made in terms of styling, interior, and features. The current model gets a beautiful front grille with illuminated glass slats, that might be done away with under the brand’s new design language. 

Skoda Enyaq India launch 

The Enyaq is also supposed to be launched in India next year, and the outgoing model was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo back in February 2024. Skoda might bring the updated model to our shores via the CBU route. We are yet to hear from Skoda about the exact details and specifications of the India-bound model as of now.
