Renault India has updated the Kiger sub-compact SUV with the 2025 model year update, which brings a rejig to the feature set and revision to the prices. Speaking of the highlights, the turbo-CVT powertrain is now more accessible with price starting below 10 lakh and more features are now standard across variants. 2025 Renault Kiger — What’s new?

 

Starting with the lower variants, all the variants of the 2025 Kiger now offer four power windows and central locking as standard. The RXL variant has been updated with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera and steering mounted controls, all at an additional cost of Rs 25,000. At Rs 6.85 lakh ex-showroom, the Kiger RXL is said to be the cheapest sub-compact SUV to offer a factory-fitted touchscreen infotainment system.

Furthermore, the RXT(O) variant now offers styled steel wheels but manages to offer the turbo-CVT powertrain at Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom, witnessing a price cut of Rs 30,000 over the outgoing model. Thereby, the Kiger becomes one of the few sub-compact SUVs to offer the tempting turbo-CVT experience at an extremely competitive price. Lastly, the top-spec RXZ turbo variant has been updated with remote engine start functionality.

Customers in certain states will get an additional taxation benefit on the on-road price of this particular variant, thereby further sweetening the package.

2025 Renault Kiger powertrain options

 

The 2025 Renault Kiger continues to come with the same set of normal and turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol engines. Both engines are now E20 fuel compliant, like the rest of the Renault India range, that includes two other models—the Triber MPV and Kwid hatchback.. The Kiger’s 1.0-litre turbocharged engine puts out 100PS of power and 152Nm of torque and comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT, with the latter exceeding the torque output to 160Nm. Furthermore, Renault is also likely to soon launch the CNG powertrain option with the Kiger sub-compact SUV.
