2025 Renault Kiger facelift — Top things to know

The Renault Kiger is the most-expensive car in Renault India’s lineup and that’s going to be the case till 2026. While Renault recently updated the Kiger with a small variant rejig and price revision, the carmaker is now readying a mid-lifecycle update for the sub-compact SUV. In this article, we will share the top things you need to know about the upcoming 2025 Renault Kiger facelift.

Renault Kiger facelift design

The most perceptible change on the Renault Kiger facelift is going to be its refreshed design. But don’t hold any high hopes for an all-new design or anything, since it is going to be just a small cosmetic nip and tuck. Expect new clusters for the headlights and tail lights along with reprofiled bumpers and a new set of alloy wheels slapped around the side. Rest of the design and overall dimensions are likely to remain the same as before.

2025 Kiger facelift interior

Like the exterior, we only expect small changes on the inside. Since there are no images of the interior available, we can assume certain changes that are generally introduced when it comes to mid-lifecycle facelifts. A few of these changes could include new trim pieces for the dashboard and door cards or even a slightly revised dashboard layout altogether for better aesthetics, new seat upholstery and minor tweaks to the theme of the electronics—the infotainment system as well as the instrument cluster. The overall space management and practicality is likely to remain the same as before.

2025 Renault Kiger features

On the features front, we can expect Renault to offer more features, especially in the higher variants of the Kiger. Since the spy shots are not detailed yet that reveal crucial details, hence its hard to judge what these new features could be. A few basic ones should be introduced for sure which includes 6 airbags, surround view camera and an electric sunroof, since most of its rivals already offer these features. 

Renault Kiger facelift powertrain options 

The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift engines options will remain the same as before that are normal and turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol engines. Both engines are already E20 fuel compliant, like the rest of the Renault India range, that includes two other models—the Triber MPV and Kwid hatchback.. The Kiger’s 1.0-litre turbocharged engine puts out 100PS of power and 152Nm of torque and comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT, with the latter exceeding the torque output to 160Nm. Furthermore, the Kiger with its 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine also offers the option of a dealer-level CNG retrofit.

2025 Renault Kiger facelift launch 

With the spy shots of the 2025 Renault Kiger emerging already, it hits towards an imminent launch. We expect the Renault Kiger facelift India launch to take place around the first half of the year 2025. Like before, it will continue to rub its shoulders against the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq and Nissan Magnite. With the set of changes in place, the 2025 Renault Kiger facelift price will see a small revision too, with the higher variant prices seeing a small price hike.
