2025 MG Hector, Hector Plus updated with E20 compliance — More details inside

MG Motor India has updated the Hector and Hector Plus SUVs with E20 compliant petrol engines, thereby complying with the latest fuel regulations in the country. Read on to know more about the 2025 MG Hector SUV and the updated price list.

MG Hector, Hector Plus updated with E20 compliance

Both the MG Hector and Hector Plus now comply with the E20 fuel, which stands for Ethanol 20 fuel. The E20 fuel contains 20% ethanol and the updated Hector petrol can run on E20 fuel. It is worth mentioning that there have been no changes to the diesel-powered Hector and Hector Plus SUVs. The Hector and Hector Plus continue to come with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine along with the option of a 6-speed manual and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The Hector and Hector Plus SUVs are also available with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

2025 MG Hector, Hector Plus features

Apart from the E20 fuel compliance, there has been no changes made to the 2025 Hector and Hector Plus SUVs. Like before, both SUVs come loaded with features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, Infinity sound system, front ventilated seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, powered front seats, surround view camera and Level-2 ADAS with features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic alerts, auto emergency braking and a lot more.

2025 MG Hector, Hector Plus price

The 2025 MG Hector and Hector Plus price see no change, despite the E20 compliance. The 2025 MG Hector price starts from Rs 14 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 22.88 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The 2025 MG Hector Plus price, on the other hand, starts from Rs 17.50 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 23.67 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
