2025 Mahindra XUV 3XO EV spied testing — Top things you need to know

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV launch has been in talks since last year. Recently, the 2025 Mahindra 3XO EV test mule was spotted again, this time on the Rajkot-Ahmedabad highway. It was fully camouflaged, but even through the wrap, some of the design details were still clearly visible. The EV is expected to come with two battery options and a set of loaded features. New Mahindra XUV 3XO EV spied: exterior & interior

The Mahindra 3XO EV exterior looks quite similar to its ICE version. From the headlamps to the connected tail-lights, most of the design details seem to follow the same layout. The overall silhouette also appears to be nearly the same. However, it is expected to get a few small changes like a closed-off front grille, a charging port placed on the front left side, and a new design for the alloy wheels, among others.

As for the Mahindra 3XO EV interior, it is also likely to carry forward a similar layout from the ICE version, with many of the same design elements. There might be a few tweaks here and there to suit the EV design language.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV features

As for the 2025 Mahindra XUV 3XO EV features, it is expected to come with twin 10.24-inch screens — one for the infotainment system and the other for the driver display. Other possible features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a 6-speaker setup, and more.

On the safety front, the Mahindra 3XO EV is likely to offer a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, ABS, EBD, blind spot monitoring, auto-dimming IRVM, and a Level-2 ADAS suite, along with some other standard safety features.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV battery & range

Talking about the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV battery specs, it is expected to be offered with two battery pack options — a 34.5 kWh unit with a claimed range of around 375 km, and a 39.4 kWh unit that could offer up to 456 km. The electric motor is likely to produce around 150PS of power and 310NM of torque.

The upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO EV launch is expected to happen later this year, anticipated around the festive season.

Currently in the market, the Mahindra XUV 3XO price starts at Rs 7.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.56 lakh for the ICE version. As for the upcoming electric version, the Mahindra 3XO EV price is expected to be on the higher side, likely ranging between Rs 13 lakh and Rs 20 lakh. Upon launch, the 3XO EV will compete with models like the Citroen ec3, Tata Punch EV, Tata Nexon EV, MG Windsor EV, and more.
