Kia India is all set to launch the Syros sub-compact SUV in the Indian market on December 19, 2024. Ahead of its launch, a new leak reveals 2024 Kia Syros top features and interestingly, Kia has managed to cram in some segment-first features, further enticing the sub-compact SUV space. As per a new leak from V3Cars, Kia India is set to offer a slew of features with its latest sub-compact SUV — the 2025 Syros. Take a look at the top unique features of the new 2025 Kia Syros SUV.

- 12.3-inch instrument cluster
- 5.0-inch auto AC control display
- Rear seat slide and recline (29 degrees)
- Rear seat ventilation (Seat base only)
- 8-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system
- Full ADAS suite (HTX Plus (O) only): We expect to see the following ADAS features in the Syros:
- Forward collision warning
- Forward collision avoidance assist (Car, pedestrian, cyclist, junction turning)

- Lane keep assist
- Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go

As you can see in the list above, the Kia Syros will come packed with features such as dual-connected screens, a new auto AC control display along with segment-first features such as rear seat slide and recline and rear seat ventilation. The Kia Syros will also offer a complete suite of Level-2 ADAS features, making it the only other SUV than the Mahindra XUV 3XO offering such features in the sub-compact SUV space.
2025 Kia Syros engine details
A couple of months back, we had spotted the Syros test mule on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway and during its fuel top-up, confirmed its diesel powertrain. More details have emerged from that time and we can now confirm that the Kia Syros will offer two engine options — a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. Expect similar power tunes as the Seltos along with both manual and automatic transmission options.
2025 Kia Syros launch, expected price and rivals
As we mentioned earlier, Kia India will launch the Syros sub-compact SUV on December 19, 2024. Once launched, it will go against other sub-compact SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue and its own sibling — the Kia Sonet. The bigger differentiation between siblings would be the rear seat experience, which the Syros excel over the Sonet. Coming to its expected price, our educated guess reveals that the Kia Syros price could fall in the range of Rs 9 lakh and Rs 17 lakh ex-showroom.
