2025 Kia Carnival India Launch On October 3 — Top Things To Know

For those who have been waiting for the launch of the Kia Carnival have some good news. As per reports, Kia India is all set to launch the 2025 Kia Carnival MPV on October 3 in the Indian market, alongside the all-electric 7-seater EV9. 

Kia Carnival India Launch Date Confirmed?

It is worth mentioning that Kia India is yet to officially reveal the Kia Carnival launch date. However, multiple reports having relations with the South Korean carmaker did confirm that the India launch of the new 2025 Kia Carnival will take place on October 3, 2024. The Kia Carnival was first introduced in India as Kia’s second product back in 2020. Upon launch, the Kia Carnival will slot between MPVs like the Toyota Innova Hycross and Toyota Vellfire. Furthermore, reports suggest that the new Carnival will be brought to the market via the CBU route initially, followed by local assembly.

Kia Carnival Exterior Design

The new Kia Carnival shares its design cues with the latest Kia offerings. The key design changes over the outgoing model include sleek LED headlights with arrow-shaped LED DRLs, revised tiger nose kidney grille, reprofiled bumpers and connected LED tail lights. The new Kia Carnival retains the signature electronically sliding rear doors for easy ingress and egress for the rear passengers. Like before, we expect Kia India to offer the new Carnival in multiple seating options.

Kia Carnival Interior And Features

Coming to the interior, the new Carnival features a new sleeker dashboard layout with a minimalist design. The centre of attraction is the glass slab that houses the touchscreen infotainment system and instrument cluster. Other features include digital rear view mirror, surround-view camera, wireless smartphone chargers, head-up display, powered rear doors and seats, seat ventilation, dual-pane sunroof and more.

Kia Carnival Engine Options

The outgoing Kia Carnival offered the 2.2-litre diesel engine, which is likely to carry over to the new-gen 2025 Kia Carnival as well. In its previous form, this engine offered 200PS of power at 3800rpm and 440Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2750rpm. Exact specifications for the new-gen Carnival as well as the possibility of other engine options are yet to be revealed. Globally, the 2025 Carnival also offers the choice of 1.6-litre turbocharged hybrid and 3.5-litre V6 petrol engines as well.
