Instead, some dealerships have begun taking unofficial bookings. 2025 Kia Carens bookings open at select dealerships

You can book the 2025 Kia Carens for a token amount of Rs 25,000, available offline only. The official bookings are expected to start in April 2025. Once it's available, you can place your reservation either offline or online. The benefit of having an unofficial early reservation is the first mover advantage, as and when the company begins accepting bookings for the new model.

The 2025 Kia Carens is expected to come with a fair share of updates, including a redesigned front with new headlamps, as well as changes around the bumper area. At the rear, it’s also expected to feature updated taillights and some tweaks around the bumper section. The Kia Carens facelift interior is also expected to come with a new dashboard design, likely to be more in line with current trends and attention-grabbing features. 

Upcoming Kia Carens facelift features

The 2025 Kia Carens features are expected to be more extensive, including a larger 12.3-inch twin screen—one for the infotainment system and the other for the driver display. It will also anticipated to come with front and rear ventilated seats, wireless charger, Bose speakers, panoramic sunroof, 6 standard airbags, TPMS, 360-degree camera, parking sensors, ADAS, and more.

2025 Kia Carens engine specs

The Kia Carens is expected to offer a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, a 1.5L turbo petrol engine with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT gearbox, and a 1.5L diesel engine with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. 

New Kia Carens facelift price & launch

The current Kia Carens price starts from Rs 10.60 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.50 lakh. However, the upcoming 2025 Kia Carens is said to be placed above the current model, hence one could expect a price premium of Rs 1 lakh, thereby nudging the price above Rs 20 lakh mark. The Kia Carens 2025 launch is anticipated to happen in May 2025. There are also discussions about an EV version of this model launching in India, which is expected to happen around June 2025.
