Jeep Meridian facelift cosmetic updates
Jeep India has released the first teaser images of the upcoming Meridian facelift, which do not reveal any significant design updates to the family SUV. It will continue to feature Jeep’s signature 7-slot grille with chrome garnishing and a front parking camera. The side profile image reveals a new design for the alloy wheels, which has moved from a multi-spoke design to a five-spoke design layout. Aside from the new alloy wheels and a new radiator grille, we do not expect Jeep to introduce any radical changes, as far as exterior design is concerned.
Jeep Meridian facelift features
The Jeep Meridian is a fairly loaded SUV and the upcoming 2025 model year update is set to bring more features. The biggest of them all is the addition of an ADAS system, which will incorporate features such as auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist. Furthermore, the Jeep Meridian will also offer features such as a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone charging, surround view camera, front ventilated seats and an Alpine sound system.
Jeep Meridian facelift 5-seater
Up until now, the Jeep Meridian was only offered in the 7-seater configuration. However, the updated model will also introduce the 5-seater configuration, for those who wish to have bigger boot space. It remains to be seen if Jeep will also consider offering a 6-seater variant, offering captain chairs for the second row, like in the case of the Meridian’s rivals like the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and Tata Safari.
