2025 Hyundai Tucson Facelift Launched In U.S. — India Bound?

The Hyundai Tucson is the South Korean carmaker’s flagship model in the country. Hyundai has recently launched the 2025 Tucson facelift in the U.S, which also happens to be the India-bound model. The new Tucson facelift brings enhancements to its exterior and interior design in addition to a set of new features.

Hyundai Tucson Facelift Exterior Details

The changes on the exterior of the Hyundai Tucson facelift have been kept minimal. The small changes uplift the stance and further dial up the aggressive design of the Tucson. These changes include the redesigned cascading grille with sharper integrated LED DRLs, revised LED headlights, reprofiled front and rear bumpers and revised LED tail lights. 

2025 Hyundai Tucson Facelift Interior Changes

The bigger changes, however, are done on the inside of the new Tucson. The 2025 Hyundai Tucson facelift interior features several changes that not only uplift the ambient but also cut down on the unnecessary clutter. The highlight of its dashboard is the large glass binnacle that houses the 12.3-inch instrument cluster and the 12.3-inch infotainment system. The AC vents  now sit below the touchscreen and run the entire width of the cabin. The AC controls also see a revision, bringing back physical controls and rotary dials for key functionalities. Also part of the package is the redesigned steering wheel with 4-dot Hyundai logo in Morse code and a new dashboard layout.

2025 Hyundai Tucson Features

The current Hyundai Tucson already comes packed with features such as a panoramic sunroof, level-2 ADAS features, ventilated and powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, ambient lighting and more. The Tucson facelift will continue to carry the same set of features and further add new features such as the connected screens and wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

2025 Hyundai Tucson Facelift Powertrains

The U.S-spec Tucson facelift gets different engine options over the India-spec model, including hybrid powertrain options. The model that has gone on sale in the U.S gets 2.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that is good for 190PS of power and 240Nm of torque. Furthermore, it also offers a 1.6-litre hybrid engine featuring a 1.49kWh battery pack and a 1.6-litre plug-in-hybrid engine featuring a 13.8kWh battery pack. The India-bound Tucson is likely to carry the same 2.0-litre normal petrol and 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine options, with the latter also offering all-wheel-drive.

2025 Hyundai Tucson Facelift India Launch Timeline

Hyundai is yet to reveal the Tucson facelift India launch timeline. The carmaker will be busy this year launching the Alcazar facelift and readying the first mass-market EV — the Creta EV. The Hyundai Creta EV is said to hit the market in early 2025. Hence, it is safe to assume that the Hyundai Tucson facelift will get launched in India in mid- or late-2025.
