2025 BYD Seal price in India announced — Gets Rs 15,000 more expensive!

BYD revealed a model year update for the Seal sedan a month back, and prices for the same have just been announced. While there is no change in BYD Seal base variant price, the subsequent variants have gotten dearer by Rs 15,000. 2025 BYD Seal suspension changes

The updated Seal adds Frequency Selective Dampers on the mid-level Premium variant, which were previously restricted to the BYD Seal top variant. Speaking of the top spec Performance variant, it debuts BYD’s DiSus-C system that claims to improve stability, comfort, as well as driving dynamics.

Updated BYD Seal battery and motor specs

BYD has put in a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low voltage battery that is supposedly lighter than conventional low voltage batteries, and comes with a claimed 15-year lifespan. Specifications of all BYD Seal variants in India are given in the table below.

New BYD Seal features

The sedan also adds a few features over the outgoing model, notably standard wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, standard powered sunshades, and a new sound wave function that stimulates some kind of sounds inside the cabin.
