2025 BYD Atto 3 launched in India — See what’s new

After launching the Sealion 7 SUV, BYD has updated the Atto 3—its entry-level SUV in the Indian market—with the MY2025 update. The updated 2025 BYD Atto 3 brings new features at the same price as last year, only for the initial buyers of the electric SUV. Read on to know more details about the 2025 BYD Atto 3 electric SUV.

2025 BYD Atto 3 launched — What’s new?

Speaking about the changes made to the 2025 Atto 3, they can be categorized into two categories — functional and aesthetic. Starting with the functional changes, the 2025 BYD Atto 3 now gets front ventilated seats and a new low-voltage LFP battery. The latter is something new that’s seen in this segment, with the LFP low-voltage battery six times lesser weight, five times better self-discharge capability and much longer lifespan compared to a traditional low-voltage battery. Furthermore, the low-voltage LFP battery in the Atto 3 comes with a 15-year lifespan.

Coming to the aesthetic changes, there is only one—on the inside. The 2025 BYD Atto 3 now comes finished in a black leatherette upholstery, replacing the grey and white colour scheme of the outgoing model. Apart from that, there have been no changes made to the exterior and interior of the electric SUV and it continues to offer the same set of features like before.

2025 BYD Atto 3 price list

Remember the same price as last year we mentioned earlier, well that’s true but with a catch. BYD has brought in these updates without making any changes to the prices but this offer is applicable to the first 3,000 customers. Once the order books for the initial 3,000 customers is closed, BYD will announce the revised prices for the SUV. It is worth mentioning that BYD has managed to sell over 3,100 Atto 3 SUVs since its first launch.
