With the Nissan Magnite facelift launch just around the corner, it's widely expected that the new model will come with some noticeable upgrades, especially in terms of features. In this article, I’ll walk you through the top 8 anticipated feature highlights that are likely to make this facelift stand out. Let’s dive into what you can expect from the upcoming Magnite!
Bigger Infotainment screen
The current Nissan Magnite comes with an 8-inch floating touchscreen, but the upcoming facelift is expected to feature a larger 9-inch screen. Just like before, it will likely include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, making connectivity seamless and convenient.
Single-pane sunroof
A big expectation with the new Magnite is the addition of a sunroof. While the outgoing version doesn’t offer one, with rivals now adding this feature, it’s becoming something many buyers look for. The new Magnite facelift might come with a single-pane sunroof, especially in the higher variants, which would be a welcome addition for those who enjoy that extra bit of luxury.
Digital driver display
The driver’s digital display in the current Magnite is a 7-inch TFT screen. However, the facelift might see an upgrade with a full digital display, and there’s also talk of increasing the screen size, which could make it easier to read and more modern.
Rain sensing wipers
Rain-sensing wipers could also be a new feature. These wipers automatically clear your windshield when it starts raining, making driving in bad weather a little easier. While the current Magnite has manual wipers, this upgrade could enhance the convenience factor for drivers.
6 airbag
Safety is becoming a bigger concern for buyers, and having 6 airbags has become the standard. The current model only has dual airbags, but the facelift is expected to include 6 airbags, aligning it with competitors like the Mahindra XUV300, Tata Punch, and Hyundai Exter. This will definitely be a boost to the car’s safety features, making it a more appealing option.
Ventilated front seats
Another feature gaining popularity is ventilated seats, especially for the front seats. With summers getting hotter, this feature could be a game-changer, making long drives much more comfortable in the new facelift model.

Day & night IRVM
The day and night IRVM (Inside Rear-View Mirror) is another practical feature that could be introduced. This mirror reduces glare from the headlights of vehicles behind, making it safer and easier for the driver to see who’s behind them, adding to the overall driving experience.
Wireless charger
Wireless charging has been available in the current Magnite, but only as part of a separate tech pack that customers had to buy. In the facelift, this feature is expected to be included in the top variants, so you won’t need to purchase an extra pack to enjoy this convenience.
Which features will carry over in the Nissan Magnite facelift?
The upcoming facelift of the Nissan Magnite is expected to come with new features, but it will also keep many of the popular features found in the current model. These include a 360-degree camera, ABS, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill Start Assist, Traction Control System, Rear Parking Sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, TPMS, and more. Additionally, the car will continue offering features like electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, a 6-speaker sound system, automatic climate control, adjustable driver seats, engine start/stop button, and cruise control, among others.
Powertrain
As for the engine, the facelifted Nissan Magnite facelift will come with the same options as before. You’ll get a 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 72ps of power and 96nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT. The turbo-petrol engine will deliver 100ps and up to 160nm of torque, available with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT for a smoother driving experience.
