2024 Nissan Magnite facelift launched in India – What’s new?

The Magnite has been single-handedly pulling Nissan’s cart in India for a long time now. There’s the X-Trail too now, but that is limited to 150 units for the country. To keep its engine running in India, Nissan has finally given the Magnite a much-needed update. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift.

New 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift

The Nissan Magnite facelift gets a host of updates across the exterior, interior as well as in terms of features. While it retains the same set of powertrain options as the outgoing model, the design and feature updates make it an appealing and refreshing option in the sub-compact SUV segment. Notably, Nissan also showcased a Nissan Magnite in the LHD configuration that is meant for exports to certain markets. 

Design enhancements

The Nissan Magnite facelift gets a redesigned front grille that is larger than before and seamlessly joins with the front headlamps. There are redesigned bumpers on the front and the rear. The taillights get a new M-shaped signature embedded into them, and they are LEDs. The new Magnite gets a fresh alloy wheel design too.

Interior and feature updates

Inside the cabin, the Nissan Magnite now gets leatherette seats that feature a certain heat insulation coating. It gets four colour options for the ambient lighting on the interior. The new key fob enables the car to be locked and unlocked automatically when it detects the key inside a certain range, and the engine can be started remotely too. The new Magnite gets an auto-dimming IRVM, an underappreciated feature in cars. There's soft-touch material used on the dashboard to enhance the feel and perceived quality. The updated Magnite gets a cooled glovebox and front and rear armrests among other features.

Safety features

The updated Nissan Magnite gets 6 airbags as standard against two on the outgoing model. Other Nissan Magnite safety features include ABS with EBD, hill-start assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a 360-degree camera setup, seat-belt reminders for all passenger and more.

2024 Nissan Magnite facelift price in India

The new Nissan Magnite price in India starts at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant and goes up till Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant. The starting price has remained the same as the outgoing model and is valid for the first 10,000 customers. Certain MT and AMT variants cost the same as before.
