At the launch of the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQA, the German carmaker also launched the 2024 EQB facelift. The new EQB brings a host of cosmetic and functional updates and the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB facelift price starts from Rs 70.90 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). We break down all the changes the new EQB features over the outgoing model.

 

Mercedes-Benz EQB Facelift — Design Updates

 

The new EQB facelift now follows the design signature of the new range of Mercedes-EQ cars. The biggest perceptible change is the flat black pattern grille with tri-star elements. The headlights have also been updated with a new LED DRL pattern and this time, they seamlessly merge into the grille. Around the back, the EQB also gets a redesign for its connected LED light bar. On the inside, it offers new upholstery options, and a redesigned steering wheel among other feature additions.

Mercedes-Benz EQB Facelift — New Features

 

With the facelift, the new EQB has also gained a handful of new features. These features include a 12-speaker Burmeister sound system with Dolby Atmos, MBUX generation 2 with better response, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 360-degree parking camera, dual-zone climate control and more. The EQB 350 also gets Level-2 ADAS with features such as active distance assist and active lane keeping assist. It is worth mentioning that the EQB is now offered as a 7-seater as well as a 5-seater, unlike the pre-facelifted model that was only offered with the 7-seater configuration.

Mercedes-Benz EQB Facelift — New Variants, More Range

 

The new Mercedes-Benz EQB facelift is now offered in two variants — 250+ and 350 4M. The 250+ is the 7-seater variant featuring a single motor whereas the 350 4M offers a 5-seater configuration with 4Matic all-wheel-drive. The latter also comes with the AMG Line, featuring sportier styling and 19-inch AMG alloy wheels.

 

The EQB 250+, which is priced at Rs 70.90 lakh is the one with the larger 70.5kWh battery pack. Thanks to its 190PS front-mounted single motor, the EQB 250+ offers a WLTP-certified range of up to 535km on a single charge. The EQB 350 4M, on the other hand, offers dual motors, thereby offering a claimed range of 447km on a single charge. The EQB 350 4M offers 300PS of power and 520Nm of torque and comes at a price of Rs 77.5 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
