2024 Kia Carnival mileage figure revealed — Check all details

A couple of weeks after the new Kia Carnival launch in India, the carmaker has released the official ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency figure for the MPV. Powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine that as the previous generation, the new generation boasts of a better fuel economy. Read ahead to know the 2024 Kia Carnival mileage figure and more details about the same.

New Kia Carnival mileage

As per ARAI, the claimed fuel efficiency of the new Kia Carnival stands at 14.85kmpl. It is to be noted that this is the laboratory-tested figure and the real-life figure shall vary depending upon road conditions, driving mannerisms, and other factors. The previous generation of the Carnival had a claimed fuel efficiency of 13.90kmpl, which was 0.95kmpl less than that of the current generation.

2024 Kia Carnival engine and transmission

The new Kia Carnival gets the same 2.2-litre diesel engine that powered the outgoing model, but it now gets a lighter aluminium block in place of one made of cast iron. The four cylinder unit is mated to an 8-speed torque convertor, and generates a maximum power output of 193PS and 441Nm of peak torque.

Kia Carnival features

The Carnival comes in a 2+2+3 seater configuration with tech and convenience features such as electrically adjustable driver’s and co-driver’s seats, electrically adjustable second row seats with ventilation, heating, and adjustable leg support. There’s a four-spoke leatherette-wrapped steering wheel below the dashboard along with a dual-screen infotainment and instrumentation setup. The rear doors have powered opening and closing function and slide backwards for easy ingress and egress. New Kia Carnival safety features include 8 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, vehicle stability management, TPMS, disc brakes on all four wheels, Level-2 ADAS with 23 functionalities, and more.

New Carnival Limousine price in India

While Kia had earlier released a brochure featuring the Limousine and Limousine Plus variants of the Carnival, it subsequently revealed the price for just the higher-spec Limousine Plus variant. The 2024 Kia Carnival Limousine Plus price in India has been set at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Kia has already garnered over 3,000 bookings for the new Carnival MPV.
