Outline

Hyundai India has just launched the Hyundai Alcazar facelift with a long list of updates both on the exterior as well as inside the cabin. With the new 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift price starting from Rs 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), Hyundai has positioned the updated Alcazar aggressively in the already competitive premium 7-seater segment. Here’s everything you need to know about the new 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift.

New Hyundai Alcazar engine options

The facelifted Hyundai Alcazar retains the powertrain options from the outgoing models, with the same power and torque outputs. There’s a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with direct injection on offer that produces 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque. A 1.5-litre diesel engine is also offered on the Alcazar that puts out 116PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The turbo-petrol comes paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The diesel automatic variants come equipped with a 6-speed torque convertor instead while the manual transmission remains the same.

Exterior design updates

Up front, the Alcazar facelift features a connected LED light bar, just like the Creta, albeit with a different H-shaped design for the DRLs. The radiator grille is placed below boasting a different block pattern while flanking the same vertically stacked quad LED headlights. Around the side, the Alcazar facelift gets a dual-tone design finish for the 18-inch alloy wheels and chunkier roof rails than before. Moving to the changes at the rear, the Alcazar facelift features a connected LED light bar, which further boasts vertically-stacked LED lights, just like the updated Palisade SUV. The updated design of the Alcazar puts it in line with the global Hyundai SUVs like the Santa Fe and Palisade.

The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar gets an electric boss mode for the second-row passenger behind the co-driver seat. This feature is a big plus for people who prefer to be chauffeur-driven and want a convenient and comfortable setup inside. The second row also features headrests that have a bolstering design to keep the occupant’s head in place. Ventilated seats are on offer for both first-row passengers as well as those in the second-row. On the dashboard, there are dials and haptic-touch buttons for the air conditioning controls (which now offer a dual-zone climate control) and an integrated 10.25-inch dual-screen setup just on top of the HVAC controls. The new Alcazar also gets an NFC-based unlocking system and memory function for the driver seat. There are of course a ton of more features on offer on Hyundai’s new SUV, such as an ADAS suite, 360-degree cameras, disc brakes on all four wheels, TPMS, panoramic sunroof and more.
