2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Spotted — Launch Likely Imminent

After the launch of the 2024 Hyundai Creta, the South Korean carmaker is now gearing up to launch the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift. A camouflaged unit in nearly production form was recently spotted in a red colour. Read on to know all details about the upcoming Hyundai Alcazar facelift.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Spotted

The upcoming Hyundai Alcazar has been spotted on Indian roads for the first time. Its red exterior colour and machined alloy wheels hint that it’s a production-ready model. However, owing to the generous amount of camouflage at the front and rear profiles, it is hard for us to judge what lies underneath. Reports and earlier spy shots reveal that Hyundai has designed the new Alcazar facelift slightly differently over the Creta, in order to create a visual distinction between the two models.

However, we expect the Alcazar to share its key design elements with the Creta. These could include the block-shape LED DRLs integrated within the radiator grille as well as dual-barrel LED headlights. A new set of front and rear bumpers could play a crucial role in visual distinction between the Creta and Alcazar. Around the rear, the Alcazar is likely to get tweaked LED lights with the H-shaped LED pattern, which is starting to become a Hyundai design signature.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Expected Features

The Hyundai Creta is already a feature packed SUV. The Alcazar is likely to continue with Creta’s features, which include Level-2 ADAS features, twin 10.25-inch screens, wireless smartphone charger, 360-degree parking camera, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, front ventilated seats and more. In addition, the new Alcazar could also feature folding rear tray tables, wireless smartphone charger, AC vents for the third row and ventilated seats in the 2nd row. 

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Powertrain Options

The new Hyundai Alcazar facelift is likely to share its powertrains with the Creta as well. It is likely to carry the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engines. The Creta’s 1.5-litre petrol engine puts out 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque and comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission only. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, puts out 115PS of power and 250Nm of torque and comes with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission options.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Expected Launch 

Reports suggest that Hyundai will launch the 2024 Alcazar facelift in September 2024. Once launched, the Alcazar facelift will rival other SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, Mahindra Scorpio N, Tata Safari, Jeep Meridian and MG Hector Plus.
