- 1Volkswagen ID.4 electric SUV expected to be showcased
- 22025 Tiguan also likely to be displayed
- 3Special editions of the Tiguan and Virtus might be displayed
The second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is set to be held at a much grander scale than the first edition, with an array of new car launches and showcases planned by both major and small automakers in India. The Delhi Auto Expo, now a part of the Bharat Mobility Show, will act as a platform from a bunch of upcoming cars in India. Here are the upcoming Volkswagen cars at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025.
Upcoming Volkswagen cars and SUVs at the 2025 Auto Expo
Upcoming VW cars and SUVs | Starting ex-showroom price |
Volkswagen ID.4 | Rs 55 lakh (estimated) |
2025 Volkswagen Tiguan | Rs 37 lakh (estimated) |
Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus special editions | Similar to prices of regular Taigun and Virtus cars |
Volkswagen ID.4
While VW has showcased the ID.4 in India before, it is likely to put it up for display at the 2025 Auto Expo as well. The VW ID.4 will be the German carmaker’s first electric car in India. It is the sister car of the Skoda Enyaq, which is also slated for an India launch next year. The details of the Volkswagen ID.4 India-spec model haven’t been revealed yet.

New Volkswagen Tiguan
The 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan SUV is already on sale in some international markets, and we expect VW to bring it to India at the upcoming Delhi Motor Show. The updated Tiguan will most likely be offered with the same powertrain as of the current model, which consists of a 2.0-litre TSI engine mated to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and Volkswagen’s 4MOTION system.
Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun special editions
Apart from these two significantly new launches, the carmaker might also display a special edition of its popular cars in India — Volkswagen Taigun and Volkswagen Virtus. Interestingly, Volkswagen sells more Virtuses than Taiguns in this era of SUVs, even when its sister-brand Skoda sells more Kushaqs than Slavias. And we aren’t complaining about that.

Other upcoming Volkswagen cars in India
In addition to the new Tiguan and the ID.4, Volkswagen might also get the 7-seater Tayron to India sometime next year, which was recently launched in global markets. The Volkswagen Tayron replaces the Tiguan AllSpace, which was on sale in India a few years back.
