Upcoming Tata Sierra SUV showcased at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025 — All details!

Alongside the new Tata Harrier EV, Tata Motors has also displayed a production version of the Sierra SUV that is slated for a launch later this year. The Sierra SUV revives the iconic ‘Sierra’ nameplate in a modern and refreshed avatar, featuring electric propulsion and contemporary styling. Here are the key highlights from the upcoming Tata Sierra SUV showcase that took place at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025.

2025 Tata Sierra

The Sierra is Tata’s upcoming SUV in India that will be the brand’s flagship offering in the country, donning an iconic nameplate. Followed by the launch of petrol (and diesel) versions a little later than the electric version, the Sierra SUV will be made available in a variety of powertrain options.

Sierra design and styling

The new Sierra pays tribute to the original Sierra SUV with a familiar greenhouse design that was unique to the car. It features a front grille that blends into the slim LED DRLs, and a sleek connected light bar at the rear with a rather protruding spoiler. The front resembles that of some Ford cars. 

Sierra interior and features

We could not get a glimpse of the car’s interior on the first day of the Expo. What we know from previous showcases is that the new Tata Sierra will be offered in four and five seater options, with the four-seater one having a lounge-like arrangement at the back. At the front, we’ll get to see a couple of screens, Tata’s two spoke steering wheel with the illuminated logo, and lots of fabric on the dashboard.
